The word Bridge, as a noun, is defined as a structure carrying a road, path, railroad or canal across a river or other obstacle. It is intended to reconcile or form a connection between 2 things. The name of our ministry to 5th and 6th graders on Wednesday nights between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm is “The Bridge”. The intention of this ministry is to carry these older, but yet still young, kids through two more years of faith formation, to carry them over the space between Children's Faith Formation and Confirmation.
The focus of The Bridge is on growing participant’s knowledge of scripture while having fun doing it. We alternate between study of the Old and New Testament. We invite all fifth and sixth graders to join us to continue to explore the bible. We have lots of fun and would love for you to join us.
The Bridge meets on Wednesday nights from September through early May. There is a light meal served from 6:45 - 7:00 pm.
